92 – Campbell Mattison

“… …This wine is in the groove, it’s faultless, the delivery of blackberried fruit flavour is immaculate. Whether or not there’s enough X factor; I guess that’s a personal thing. Smooth blackberries, cloves, leather, boot polish, a smudge of chocolate. Oak, fruit, acid; it’s all well pitched, well balanced. Accordingly you can drink it now or just about any time over the next 15 years (if well stored) and it should perform well.”
