93 – Huon Hooke

“Deep red/purple hue and a savoury, undergrowth, slightly chaffy aroma. The palate holds lovely spices and sweet cherry flavours, splendidly fruity yet covered with mouth-coating tannins and savouriness in keeping with the house style. Delicious wine, seemingly more robust than usual for this blend.”
