This Shiraz is drawn from one of Western Australia’s best kept secrets, the Frankland River. A succulent red, it was last tasted by the winemaker in 2021. On the nose there are lifted notes of violets, cherries and peppery spices. The palate is medium to full bodied with intense tastes of black cherries, spice and a savoury tannin profile with a juicy cool climate acidity on the finish.
Peak drinking is between now and 2028

“Frankland River is one of the greatest places in WA for shiraz…You get all the regional blood, dirt, plush, succulent fruit and buoyant tannins you could hope for. It’s uncomplicated and a burster for the price”
